Stamina building is prevalent in elementary classrooms with reading. However, in my experience, I struggle with keeping students motivated and engaged while writing. It didn't matter what type of writing it was, I always heard "I'm done...now what?" I find myself repeating "Writing is never finished." This would inevitably lead to frustration on both parts.
